Music by DJ Apryl Reign
DJ Apryl Reign will be on hand to spin some eclectic tunes!
Apryl's father managed a female R&B group that was produced by Chuck D and that experience exposed her to unique and diverse music from an early age. She began deejaying in 1996 and she has been teaching deejay classes at Elementz Youth Center since 2005, where her vast experience and knowledge in this element of hip-hop has helped students explore the many avenues that deejaying provides especially in the area of entrepreneurship.
In 2010, Apryl stunned the competition and won over the crowd at the regional Red Bull 3Style competition, an invitation-only deejay event, which evaluated each participant based on their mixing skill, ability to spin across multiples genres and crowd participation. She went on to compete at Red Bull's national competition in Denver, Colorado.
Apryl graduated from Dayton Dunbar High School and then from Central State in 1997 with a degree in Psychology.
