diversity and inclusion is top of mind for nearly every Hr practitioner in the nation right now.

And with good reason!

On August 13th, we will be hosting a virtual round table allowing practitioners to discuss their role in diversity, inclusion and belonging (DIBs as one of our DISRUPT speakers puts it) as they are all very different things.

After a brief introduction and instructions, attendees will move into breakout rooms where they will discuss the idea of DIBs and HR's role and barriers to creating truly inclusive cultures where everyone feels they belong. We will then gather back together to discuss all ideas.

Here are our topics for discussion:

  1. What, if anything, has changed in your workplace surrounding DIB over the last several months? Is there a different or new focus?
  2. Focusing in on belonging, what are organizations doing to create belonging?
  3. How are organizations dealing with the fear of saying or doing the wrong thing which can sometimes mean nothing gets said or done even when needed?
  4. How do we encourage the organization to realize that everything should be looked at through an equity lense?
  5. How can organizations measure their efforts? How do we know that the things we are doing to encourage inclusion and belonging are really effective?

Cancellations are allowed up to 48 hours prior with a full refund. After that registration can be transferred to a later event.
