We are excited to announce that on October 6th- November 3rd, Calvary Chapel Golden Springs will be hosting a Sermon Prep Class. This will be a 5 week class on Saturday’s from 10 am to 12 pm
Vision
Expositional Bible teaching has been at the core of Calvary Chapel since the birth of the movement. We desire to protect, preserve and pass on this distinctive. Join pastor Danny Bond as he shares unique insights on the personal preparation of the messenger of God and practical tips on preparing and preaching an effective sermon. Our aim in these classes is to equip the Bible teacher with the necessary tools to teach the Word effectively with clarity.
We must heed the call to be diligent to present ourselves approved to God, workers who do not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15). Seasoned Pastor Danny Bond will lead these classes.
Pastor Danny Bond the unique gift of teaching teachers how to teach. These classes will be beneficial and instrumental in aiding you in becoming the bible expositor that the Lord has called you to be.
Pastor Danny Bond
Pastor Danny Bond has enjoyed over forty years in the ministry. He has Pastored several churches, taught at conferences and overseas, and ministered for years over the radio. He has authored over a dozen works including Clothed to Conquer, Enjoying God while Overcoming sin, and The Spirit Controlled Life. Danny now serves as an Associate Pastor at Calvary Chapel Golden Springs with Pastor Raul Ries while teaching at Calvary Chapel Golden Springs Bible College. His verse-by-verse teaching has been lauded for its ability to stimulate the mind while warming the heart with the truth of God’s Word.
What to Expect
Each class will be held in our Fellowship Hall, where we will provide comfortable seating and tables for those who need space for their notes and devices such as a Laptop or Tablet. Wifi will be provided as well for the duration of the classes. Continental breakfast and coffee will be provided weekly.
