At this meeting Chapter Scholarship recipients will present highlights of the National APIC Conference in June.  The meeting will be held at Providence Health and Services in Southgate Bldg 1, Cedar Rooms #1-2. Two buildings over fromwhere we met in May.  Security check in required.

How to Critically Read and Evaluate a Research Paper

Join us to learn a standardized approach to reading and evaluating published Infection Prevention literature.  Literature review is an essential component of Infection Prevention yet journal articles can be confusing and sometimes misleading.  Jeanette Harris MS, MSM, MT, (ASCP), CIC, FAPIC Infection Prevention Surgical Services Multicare Health System will describe a standardized method of journal article review and provide you with the tools you need to become a confident reader.   With a checklist and practice IP’s can master this skill which is the first step in sharing your own work with the world.
