What is it?
Honey Day is a backyard barbeque hosted by Not My Boys, a once thriving blog. The purpose of Honey Day is to allow families an opportunity to get together in a low cost and stress free environment for fun and fellowship, while at the same time supporting a charitable cause. See old friends and meet new ones.
What is a plate?
A plate includes smoked meat and sides.
What is the charity?
Not My Boys subsidizes the costs of this event, so the proceeds go to charity. This year the charity is Freedom Recovery Center of Greenville. Freedom Recovery was founded to bridge the gap between substance abuse disorder and long-term recovery. Since 2011, they have served more than 600 families.

You listened to him in college as part of Five Way Friday and now the world listens to him out of Nashville, TN. We are excited to bring back home Greenville native, Mac Leaphart to provide awesome tunes. If you have not had a chance to check out his latest release "Music City Joke," then stop what you're doing and grab your ear buds. Here is what Saving Country Music had to say about the album:
"Like a more countrified version of John Prine, or a more compositionally-minded version of Jerry Jeff Walker during his gonzo era, Mac Leaphart immediately earns your ear and devotion with this handful of incredibly well-written songwriter songs and rousing boot scooters that are just about perfectly produced and ripe for repeat listening."
What if it is raining?
Bring an umbrella. Honey Day is rain or shine.
