Holiday Inn, Lime Street, Liverpool, Merseyside, L1 1NQ , United Kingdom.

Come and meet pharmacy professionals from community, general practice and medicines management on this training evening held by Mersey Care NHS Trust and Liverpool LPC.

The aim of this event is for you to consider how pharmacy professionals in all sectors can support people who take high-risk medicines such as lithium, valproate and methotrexate. You will be introduced to different high-risk drugs, issues around their safe use, what happens when things go wrong, and what different cohorts of pharmacists across the city are doing to support patients who take these medications.

There will then be a practical session reviewing prescriptions and scenarios with significant  effects and ideas on how this learning can help your practice.

This will be an excellent opportunity for you to collaborate and network with pharmacists across the city to share ideas on how this can be tackled for your patients.

Matt Harvey
