E-cigarettes are very popular with young people. Their use has grown dramatically in the last five years. Today, more high school students use e-cigarettes than regular cigarettes. The use of e-cigarettes is higher among high school students than adults. Did you know that e-cigarettes are made to look like USB flash drives or writing pens? Would you be able to identify an e-cigarette if you saw one? After this lunch and learn, you will be able to identify the different e-cigarettes, identify how tobacco companies market to youth, and identify the health risks associated with e-cigarette use.
Presented by Kylee Jones, Tobacco Awareness Coordinator, Healthy Communities
