New York Athletic Club, 180 Central Park South, New York, NY, 10019, United States.

As the founder of VEThack, an innovative technology nonprofit organization, I would like to personally invite you to our First Annual Healing the Wounds of War Through Technology Benefit at the storied New York Athletic Club in New York City on Veterans Day,Friday, November 11, 2016 at 6:30pm.

VEThack’s driving mission is to improve quality of life for injured American veterans by creating, modifying, and improving technology that addresses catastrophic limb loss, traumatic brain injury, and post-traumatic stress. Nearly ONE MILLION veterans have been wounded in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan alone, with over 50,000 Polytrauma patients (those who have suffered multiple traumatic injuries) among this staggering number.

We at VEThack laboratories strive to fully heal these wounds of war through interdisciplinary collaboration with some of the most prestigious R&D labs and academic institutions in the world. Funds raised at this year’s Benefit will go directly towards lab equipment and space, as well as to expanding our team of carefully-selected STEM-trained staff. Our team is relentless in driving collaborative research efforts that address the most critical needs of catastrophically wounded veterans, and your support will help us continue to do this vital work.

Each year, because of generous donors like you, we are able to make great strides in furthering our research into advanced technological platforms that will make mental and physical disabilities obsolete for veterans wounded in our nation’s war against terrorism.

We are proud to host our first annual Benefit on Veterans Day; a day dedicated to paying tribute and giving thanks to those who have bravely and honorably served our country. I hope you will continue to stand in support of our troops by joining us at this year’s event.

Enclosed please find a response form with the many ways to participate. Kindly respond by November 2nd. If you have any questions, please contact me at 646-541-6190or at ycw232@stern.nyu.edu.

I hope you can join me on November 11th for an inspiring evening!

Very Respectfully,
