Alina's Light, in collaboration with Sasha Phillips, our Art director and curator with over a decade of experience teaching Pysanki, presents this exciting event as part of our new Healing Arts Program. Designed to promote resilience and wellness, this program aims to provide therapeutic support for those in the process of grieving through the transformative power of art.
Join us March 16th from 2:30pm to 5:30pm, where we will be hosting a special Easter Egg Painting and Decorating event in the style of Pysanki. This ancient tradition is not only a colorful and relaxing craft, but it also holds deep meaning and symbolism, making it a wonderful wellness and resilience tool for all ages.
Art as a Healing Tool:
- This event is part of our Healing Arts Program, designed to provide a therapeutic and creative outlet for those who may be feeling sad or grieving.
- Engaging in art has been shown to aid in the healing process, offering a means of self-expression and comfort during difficult times.
Guided by an Expert:
- Under the guidance of amazing Sasha Phillips, who has taught pysanky since 2010, you will have the opportunity to engage in this hands-on class and create your own vibrant Easter eggs.
- Sasha, who not only learned this tradition from her own grandmother but also has formal art training, is delighted to share this meaningful experience with you.

Investment in Healing:
The class fee is $35, and we welcome adults and older children (10 and up). This class is not suitable for young children due to the use of hot wax and raw eggs, but they are welcome to watch.
