The Hammond Education Foundation's Hero in Education Award Dinner is one of the staple events of not only the foundation but the School City of Hammond. It is a time to celebrate and recognize the talent that resides within our school district and community.
A Hero in Education demonstrates the following criteria in support of our students, our teachers, our administrative staff, our buildings, and our school system:
