Guncle Gary’s Bug Tussle Pageant slaps comedy and drag pageantry together for a wild, off the wall competition! Get ready to GAG as 6 seasoned entertainers are paired with 6 amateurs of their choosing and compete in 3 magnificent categories: Trashy Extravaganza (creative presentation), Golden Girls Glam (evening wear), and Cuntry Bumpkin (talent) in hopes of winning the title of Bug Tussle Winner 2021. First, second, and third places will win hilarious prizes...you like Spam? How about toilet bowl trophies? Or maybe even the coveted Critter Crown? Presented by Guncles Are Great, this is sure to be a rowdy night of laughs and tomfoolery!

Guncles are Great aims to fill Arkansas with trusted mentors, friends, and champions in the form of the Gay Uncle, or “Guncle.” Our nonprofit, LGBTQ+ organization based in Jonesboro, Arkansas is focused on normalizing the gay experience through the power of community support and mentorship. We are working to build bridges between gay and straight communities in Northeast Arkansas across generations, political lines, sexual identities, and backgrounds. Our vision is for our community members to reach across the aisle and across the kitchen table in a spirit of love and friendship as we build unity within the community, one Guncle and one family at a time.
