Which vegetables and herbs are the easiest to grow and have the highest yields?

Most everyone wants to simply “plant it and forget it”, but which veggies and herbs can thrive with little pampering in the Midwest?

During this class, you will take home all the knowledge, publications, seeds and inspiring ideas needed to successfully and enjoyably grow vegetables and herbs. High-yielding, low-maintenance and resilient varieties will be shared along with management methods that will help plants thrive.

Only organic methods will be learned; no synthetic pesticides or fertilizers will be discussed.

Participants of any experience level are invited.

Yummy snacks are generously provided by New Pioneer Co-op.

Even though the class is held outside, masks and social distancing of at least 6’ will be required the entire time. (Depending upon CDC recommendations, we may change to online if the virus risk increases.)

Fee: $5 per family (up to 4 people)
