Generation Gap Training

The workplace should be able to accommodate different perspectives, ideas and ideologies. Employees often seek out one another to bridge various gaps and ends. But there's another type of gap that may be more difficult to bridge than religion, sexuality, or citizenship. It is the one of generation. Both old and young generations offer different perspectives depending on their cultural and historical backgrounds. Disagreements can occur when the younger generation thinks that older ideas are outdated and the older generation thinks that the newer ideas are too exotic or unusual. Both generations must learn to let go of their differences, prejudices, and to tap into the other generation for wisdom, inspiration, and experience. This is exactly what our training session aims to accomplish.

Employees will learn how to communicate more effectively between generations by understanding the reasons for prejudices between generations. This training session is for everyone, young or old, and will teach you how to explore perspectives across generations.

Here are some examples of objectives:

Understanding the source of the generation gap and its impact on the current workforce is key.

Learn and use language specific to each generation at work

Find Organization Strategies to Overcome Gap Problems

Assess the need and effectiveness of Recruiting and Retention Plans in the context of the Generation Gap

Tailor to Fit Your Team

This session can be customized to meet your specific needs. We will be happy to show you examples of the session and help you create a training program that suits your needs and goals. We are available to assist you with any questions. Training sessions are held in Gold Coast and Parramatta as well as Adelaide, Sydney, Canberra.
