PROGRAMME INTRO

GE Aviation is a world-leading provider of commercial, military and business and general aviation jet and turboprop engines and components as well as avionics, electrical power and mechanical systems for aircraft. 

In this lecture, the guest speaker will give audience a review of GE Aviation’s commercial engine product portfolio, ranging from engines powering regional and narrowbody aircraft to widebody aircraft - today and tomorrow. The speaker will talk about the status of the respective engine programs, including a review of the Entry into Service process. 

With over 36,000 GE/CFM engines currently in operation, the maintenance support is essential to ensure highest possible aircraft utilization while accommodating varying customer demands for engines at different phases of their lifecycle.

The application asks for both registration and attendee details - even if there is only one person on the booking, you must fill in all fields. If you are reserving more than one ticket please ensure you enter the name of all attendees so they are reflected on the attendee list.

The Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS) Heathrow Branch was formed from the combined London Airport Branches of SLAET (founded in 1950) and RAeS (founded in 1955). The Branch membership principally covers Middlesex, although regular attendees also travel from neighbouring counties and from central London. The Branch meets regularly at British Airways Waterside and all members and non-members will receive a warm welcome!
