Gardner Club Breakfast

The Gardner Club Breakfast is back after a pandemic hiatus. Second only to a Stampede breakfast, this is Calgary’s best networking and fundraiser event which happens before 10am and we cannot wait to welcome you back to the Petroleum Club for our 2024 event.

Please join us Thursday, May 30, 2024, to hear our keynote speaker Allison Lang talk about her experiences growing up with a disability and how she changed her mindset to become the role model she never had. Allison has a varied career that includes professional speaking and advocating for those with disabilities, world travel blogger, fashion model, as well as a para-athlete who has represented Canada on the world stage. Proceeds from the event will be used by the Chinook Scout Foundation to support our Scouting programs and immerse area youth in outdoor activities and learning.

Featured Speaker: Allison E. Lang

Speaker, Disability Advocate, & Canadian Para Athlete

Allison is a passionate advocate for those with disabilities. She was born missing the lower half of her left leg at birth and has overcome adversity in many stages of her life. She was severely bullied which impacted her body image & self-confidence, resulting in her hiding her disability for many years.

Allison has transformed her mindset to be the role model she never had by breaking the negative stigma associated with disability. She represents Canada as an athlete in Sitting Volleyball.
