The Half day Opening Closets workshop will help you to:

  • Increase your knowledge of the needs of LGBTI people
  • Provide participants with models and frameworks for understanding sexuality, sex and gender
  • Look at how homophobia and transphobia operate at different levels in society
  • Provide participants with some strategies for better supporting clients
  • Promote your service as a LGBTI-friendly environment for staff and clients

The training includes:

  • Tailored workshops
  • Experienced facilitators
  • Resource kits

Duration: 4 hours (including morning or afternoon tea break)

Due to anticipated high demand, a fee of $20 applies if a booking is cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice.
