The Frank Spellman Classic is a USAW sanctioned weightlifting competition hosted by Garage Strength Weightlifting. Previously hosted by the Malvern Weightlifting Club this event has moved north to Fleetwood, PA. The event is open to youth, junior, senior, and master ages, and can be used as a qualifier for all Junior/Senior Nationals events in 2018. There are no refunds, so please be sure you can attend. This event is free for spectators. Please come and cheer on your friends, family, and peers. We reserve the right to close individual sessions and/or change times of sessions as we deem necessary to run a successful meet. The following is a tentative schedule until registration is closed. This may change based on registrations.

Saturday: All senior and master lifters. First session weigh in at 6am.

Sunday: All youth, junior, and novice lifters. First session weigh in at 6am.

Clothing: A weightlifting singlet is encouraged. However, all lifters can use tight spandex shorts and a tight fitting collarless t-shirt instead. Here are the official guidelines: http://www.iwf.net/wp-content/uploads/downloads/2015/01/141231-IWF-Guideline-for-Outfit.pdf

Awards: Medals will be given to the Top Three lifters in senior, youth, and junior classes. Overall top three medals will be given to masters, and to the novice session.
