This presentation will offer an overview of the risk of foster youth being trafficked as a result of enduring trauma. Together we will explore the data and risk factors associated with foster youth living through traumatic events, and how these individuals are “primed” for the trafficking industry. We encourage you to join us with an open mind ready to learn, equipping you as a caretaker to see the signs and protect foster youth from being taken advantage of through trafficking.
