Foster Care Training - Part 3: Adolescence & Relationships with Bio Families
This training has been designed for new and prospective foster care parents. You can expect to be introduced to the child welfare system, the key professionals in the system, and the child's experience coming into foster care. In addition, this training will overview the years of adolescents into adulthood and will explore relationships with biological families. This training will provide approaches for working together with biological families and tools for reducing family stress.
This training qualifies as 3 hours of credit toward foster care license certification and recertification, as well as the annual training requirement.
Lunch will be provided for participants.
