GREAT NEWS! We have a bonus opportunity to get into a sports wheelchair and play some wheelchair basketball. Thanks to the wonderful support of the City of Fort St John and the Participaction Community Challenge we will be offering this opportunity to try some 3x3 wheelchair basketball at the outside court at Dr Kearney Middle School.
As always Wheelchair basketball is an inclusive sport; all ages and abilities - so everyone welcome! We will be outside though so I am sure you will be concerned about the weather - no worries though we will still have an opportunity to use the chairs undercover if the heavens do open up.
No experience necessary, All equipment provided, No disability required to play, Great chance to try a new sport and meet new people as well as help to build a new sports opportunity for the community.
