Foot Reflexology in Eldercare (PRE-REQUISITE “A”)
Whether you work in a health care setting with senior citizens, or you have an elderly relative living with you at home, harness the power of touch with the benefits of reflexology. Reflexology increases circulation even in those who do not get regular exercise, helps calm an over-excited nervous system, aids with peaceful sleep, and helps with organ function. We will discuss the needs of the older body, how to use reflexology when the recipient is taking medication, and how to gently adapt a regular session, or use quick reflex techniques as they are called for, to increase quality of life and comfort.
PRE-REQUISITE “A”: Student of ASR Foot Reflexology Certification; OR Foot Reflexology Certification from ANY institute (minimum 30 hours classroom plus 60 hours practicum)
Cancellation policy Course fee is non-refundable. If ASR must cancel course due to unforseen circumstances fee will be refunded.
