Joof & Marianna Albert's and Ben van Stratten's Farm, 260 Pimlico Road, PIMLICO, NSW, 2478, Australia.

The recent severe weather and flooding in the Northern Rivers has impacted on everyone, creating unprecedented challenges, and uncertainty about long term orchard impacts.

The AMS and NSW DPI would like to invite you to a field day and BBQ addressing storm/flood recovery.

The field days are an opportunity to meet with other growers and industry members who were impacted by the severe weather, and to share stories about how growers have fared in the aftermath.

The event will include a field walk to examine storm/flood damage in the orchard and overview recovery and harvest strategies. There will be disease and pest specialists on hand so that you can ask any questions.

In attendance will also be NSW DPI resilience officers who can assist with accessing relief assistance, including eligibility criteria and navigating the application and claims process. AMS staff who have been advocating on your behalf with local and federal government will be available to discuss issues you’re facing and what else you need to recover.

We know everyone has been through a lot lately. These events are a good opportunity for you to ask any questions and for shared experiences with a BBQ lunch and refreshments provided.
