Hello and congratulations on your acceptance to the Daphne Cockwell School of Nursing! We, your student leaders from Ryerson, George Brown and Centennial, are happy to open registrations for FYO.
***IMPORTANT*** ALL INCOMING NURSING STUDENTS MUST ATTEND THE "COLLABORATIVE NURSING FROSH AVENGERS”. This is for students from all 3 sites!- see information below
Date & Time: Wednesday August 28 (1:00 pm-5: 00pm)
Location: Sherbourne Common (next to George Brown Waterfront Campus)
61 Dockside Drive, Toronto, Ontario, M5A 1B6
Registration & Check-In: 12: 30 pm - 1:00 pm
Attire: Comfort/Sporty (i.e. running shoes), be prepared for warm weather (sunscreen, water, hats, etc.)
Please register for FYO by RSVPing. We are offering students the chance to purchase embroided high quality crewnecks that fit the theme of nursing. If you would like purchase a crewneck, select the RSVP+Crewneck option in your preferred size. Crewnecks will be available for pick up at the Nursing Avengers Frosh, held at GBC Waterfront Campus from 1 pm to 5 pm.
Attendance at both the Academic and Frosh Orientations is MANDATORY for all students. Please attend the academic orientation at your respective sites, but RSVP through here to confirm your attendance at both respective orientation events.
Dates for the Academic Orientations are based on sites and may be different from the Nursing Avengers Frosh, so students asked to be available for two days in that case. Please see below for the academic orientation dates:
Ryerson Main Site - 28 August 2019
George Brown - 27 August 2019
Centennial - 30 August 2019
