This game is organized by the Young Democrats of the Central Midlands to benefit the children of Epworth Children's Home. This is a bipartisan event. There is only one goal centered around this event, and that is to send EVERY child at Epworth Children's Home to the Fireflies game on April 20th. We want to thank COR- Columbia Opportunity Resource, YPofCCC- The Young Professional of the Capital City Club, and YR- the Young Republicans for joining us in our efforts to make this happen! All are welcomed to join in the fun!
More on Epworth:
Since 1896, Epworth Children’s Home has been a place for children to grow, learn and be loved. Children ages four – 18 come to us from broken family systems and our goal is to nurture and love them by providing education, counseling, medical care and spiritual enrichment.
The mission of Epworth Children’s Home is to serve children, youth and families through a caring, accepting and safe Christian community, where hurts are healed; hope is nurtured; and faith in God, self and others is developed.Epworth Children’s Home provides group residential care for children and youth from all of South Carolina. We provide child care, counseling and related services to families and children without regard to race, religion, national origin or ability to pay.
The Young Democrats of the Central Midlands serve as the regional chapter for Young Democrats living in Richland, Lexington, and Newberry counties. Meetings are held monthly. YDofCM members work restlessly, to create a visible network of young democrats in the Midlands region promoting politics, service, and effective collaboration. Together we can change the lives of those around us! To learn more, visit our website ydofcm.com or contact our team at ydofcm@gmail.com
