Monday, 25 September 2017 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM GST

We are very excited to welcome you back after the summer break. The next FilmLab event will take place on Monday, 25th September at 7pm.

This time we will deal with an original way of filmmaking that can serve as an inspiration to us all: Running a Comic Series on the Web.

Ben Fogg, a writer and director, has found an alternative and inexpensive way to make his films: he runs web-based comic series. He will introduce us to some of the new ways to produce and distribute his films.

Fogg produced an incredible string of miniseries: Merlin (feat. Sam Neil), Gulliver’s Travels (feat. Ted Danson), and The Magical Legend of Leprechauns (feat. Whoopi Goldberg). In 2005, Fogg won a scholarship to study Directing at the National School of Film and Television and in 2007 he set up his own production company Shaven Ape Ltd. (www.shavenape.tv). For several years, Fogghas been amongst the sold-out comedians of the Edinburgh Festival. One of his jokes was lately selected for the list of the 15 best jokes of Edinburgh Festival 2017. Fogg has been attending our FilmLab sessions since the very beginning.

Ben Fogg will gladly answer your questions and give practical advices at the end of the session.

FilmLab7 is produced in association with Met Film School and will take place on Monday, September 25th at 7pm.
