Your registration will say that this event is free but it is your registration that is free and the event must be paid in person upon arrival. LOCATION
The Santa Elena History Center is located at 1501 Bay Street in Beaufort. Parking lots are available across from the Center on North Street. Parallel parking is also available on Bladen and Bay Streets – all at no charge.

MUSEUM REMINDERS

Please remind students to be quiet and courteous in the History Center.
Ample bathrooms are available throughout the building, and it is the duty of the chaperones to oversee proper restroom conduct.

FAMILY EDUCATION

  • While we hope that you enjoy a fun, educational, and memorable field trip to each program, please remember that our school group programs are an extension of each family's class day. We ask our hosts to aim for educational quality.
  • For this set of programs, siblings may need to stay with a parent outdoors due to space limitations and safety restrictions. Please prepare for this possibility by making plans with another parent for chaperoning purposes. There is a nearby park in downtown Beaufort that may offer a wonderful alternative for younger siblings.
  • Space limitations may prohibit strollers.
  • Elementary and upper level students will be split into appropriate age groups. Each group will experience both the museum tour and the soldier educational talk and demonstration.

Cancellation policy

Please let us know right away if you cannot make it to the event so that we may offer your spot to others. Thank you.
