Goat Felting Workshop at Sunflower Farm

Come for an afternoon of fun, learn a new skill, and leave with your new creation! We will begin the class with some time in the barn with the goats. Observe your favorites, get some snuggles, then we'll head in by the woodstove for tea, wine, cookies and felting! 

Felter Kathleen Gerdes will lead us in the process of making a 2D goat. The front ear will be 3D so you can experiment with creating dimension. You will learn basic needle felting skills and focus on the distinct shape of a lovely goat face! Once you are done, you will have a piece you can frame or turn into a pillow.  If you are eager for more, try your hand at a 3D goat, take home whatever you don't finish to work on at home.

Beware, class comes with a warning! There is something super addictive about using beutiful local wool to create precious animals, you might leave hooked!
