Come for a morning of fun, learn a new skill, and leave with your new creation -- A sweet felted goat (or dog or cat...options are endless) that you brough to life! We will begin the class with some time in the barn with the goats. Observe your favorites, get some snuggles, then we'll head in by the woodstove for tea, bagels and felting!

Each participant will make their own mini animal felted scupture using an armature and wool roving from local sheep! Half the fun is seeing all the other animals around the room come to life as you make your own. Beware, this class comes with a warning! There is something super addictive about using beautiful local wool to create precious animals, you might leave hooked!

All materials and a How to Make a Felted Goat handout created by Hope Hall will be part of the class cost. If you would like to stop by Port Fiber before class to get a few bits of colors or culrs that you would like to make your goat one of a kind that is great, but we will have plenty of goatie colors to work with.

Looking forward to felting with you!

Sunflower Farm is a Nigerian Dwarf Farm and Dairy. We are currently milking 18 does by hand twice a day. We love our goats and think you can taste the love in our simple, delicious products. We have a no cull practice which means all goats are treasured throughout their life.
