This new event will be run following Ferrari Club of America Competitive Rally rules and will be limited to the first 40 cars entered.
It just might be a great “warm-up” if you are attending the FCA Annual Meet in Phoenix, AZ, November 6th-10th and are planning to enter the Competitive Rally.
FCA rallies are typically of the fun or Gimmick style, often with an overall time target but always with questions and puzzles to answer along the way while enjoying a scenic drive through the countryside. This rally will follow the Gimmick format. Awards will be issued for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers. A Driver and a Navigator is required for this event. A “Drivers” meeting will be held at 10:40 am to give further instructions and address questions from the entrants. The first car will leave Continental AutoSports at 11:00 and cars will generally leave at an interval of 1-2 minutes.
Vehicle registration includes dinner. Meal selections must be made at time of registration. Please select from one of the following for each person; 8 oz., English Cut Prime Rib, NY Strip Steak, Chicken Parmigiana or Lake Superior White fish. Meals include a relish tray, soup, salad and ice cream. Cash bar is available. (note: this restaurant is renowned for their Steak’s and Prime Rib is their specialty)
After completing the Rally Route and turning in answer sheets, entrants can enjoy dinner and socializing with the fellow entrants while results are being tabulated. This is also a fun time of the event where entrants get to share their experiences from the Rally.
