Bring out your child's inner chef with Farm Box Kids Cooking Camp! Each day, we’ll explore the delicious flavors of Europe, cooking through Italy, France and Spain...PLUS:
· Essential kitchen skills like knife handling, food safety, recipe adherence, seasoning, stirring, grilling, use of kitchen tools, and more!
· Discovering where food comes from, what is in season, tips for making healthy food taste great and how to make smart nutritional choices.
· Review of geography, regional dishes and ingredients.
· Science, math and reading comprehension application of cooking.
Tasting all the delicious food they create!
Fun Fridays include an outing to the Hermosa Beach Farmer’s Market, our delicious Cake Challenge, Kitchen Skills Competion and Brown Bag Cooking Challenge.
Camp runs from 9:30 to 1 pm. Kids wear closed toe shoes, hair pulled back, and bring an apron.
Please note that this week does not include a Thursday class!!
