Participants review the family mediation process, observe demonstrations and practice several case scenarios. Role-play scenarios provide participants with invaluable practice and feedback from seasoned mentor mediators.

Prerequisite: Family Mediation Skills or  20-hour basic family mediation training

Applies to: Completes observation requirements for Juvenile and Domestic Relations and Circuit Court Family certifications

NVMS Conflict Resolution Center is a community dispute resolution center in Fairfax, Virginia affiliated with the School of Conflict Analysis and Resolution at George Mason University and a member of the Virginia Association for Community Conflict Resolution.
