The BIA training is made available with the help of Professor Juan Carlos Gómez, Director of the Carlos A. Costa Immigration and Human Rights Clinic at Florida International University along with practicing attorneys, former judges, law professors and attorneys from immigrant advocacy organizations.

You will be responsible for bringing your own laptop. A USB flash drive with training materials will be provided. These seminars will be in English. No translation will be available.

ALM-Immigration Services will offer a 40-hour Fall Institute of Basic Immigration Law. Training Sessions will be taught by Professor Juan Carlos Gomez, Director of the Carlos A. Costa Immigration and Human Rights Clinic at Florida International University along with practicing attorneys, former judges, and law professors. This training will provide a comprehensive survey of immigration law and procedures. This intensive training event is designed for the staff of nonprofit religious, social and charitable organizations who wish to apply for Board of Immigration Appeals Accreditation.
