As the year 2020 comes to a close, we have seen a tumultuous time of change, loss and anxiety as well as a chance to strengthen our resilience and resolve. In this 90- minute mini-retreat we will have an opportunity to speak to our losses and explore the very foundations of our lives that have been shaken by the extraordinary events of a global pandemic as well as social and political upheaval.
We invite you to join us to give time and place for self-care, self-reflection and the creation of a community of support. Using tools or “third things” such as reflection, journaling and poetry to invite the exploration, with our own “Inner Teachers” to guide us to listen to ourselves and to each other, we join with those in this virtual community. This process is rooted in the belief that from the exploration of our inner lives, in community with others, we are able to “go deeper” to summon our resilience, and the inner wisdom to strengthen our own foundations so that our service to others flows from the identity and integrity of our life. Such work invites us to reclaim our balance and summon our resolve as we gain healing and new clarity of purpose.
