Ladies from all over are invited to join us for laughter, inspiration, and most of all empowering and equipping to walk through life with courage. are breakout sessions held on the second day of the event. Each session is interactive and designed to equip women in their different seasons of Life. When you purchase your ticket we will ask you to make your Frist Choice and your Second Choice. Space is limited and we will do everything we can to meet your preference. You will find out which session you are in during registration on Friday night.
BRAVE LIFE: "I thought I would be married, with two children, a dog named 'Fluffy', and living in a home with a white picket fence by now." Somewhere between disappointment and failed expectations, it is time to pick up the pieces and walk FORWARD. But what does that look like? Where do I even begin? Let's talk about living a Brave Life.
BRAVE LEADER: A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way. This interactive session is designed to provide women in pastoral or ministerial leadership roles access to and insight from one who is traveling "the way" ahead of us. We know that leadership, even in the church, can be lonely and challenging. Be encouraged as you hear a pastor's wife of 25 years share the greatest lessons she has learned along "the way" through those years.
BRAVE LOVE: Successful marriages don't last because they are destined to last. They last because two brave people make a choice. Marriage is not easy. It requires bravery to choose to fight for and work for your marriage. Learn to navigate the traps and choose to enjoy the journey of marriage in this session.
BRAVE LEGACY: As a young girl I cannot recall thoughts of wanting to be a mother or a wife, but here I was unmarried and 19 years old when the pregnancy test read “positive”. Since that time I have experienced both brokenness and restoration, finding that it takes great courage and intentionality to establish our homes. Whether you are single or married, have young ones or young adults, let’s talk about riding this roller coaster as Brave Warriors in our homes, while breaking cycles and leaving legacies. Possbily you are not even a parent, but have influence over others in your life; the real question to ask is this: "If God calls me home today, what is the legacy that I want to leave behind?"
