Q: Who is this for?
A: ‘Essentials of Influence’ is designed for students, speakers (public speakers, emcees, etc.), stage performers of various arts (music, dance, theatre, etc.) and also content creators on social media. individuals aged 16 and above. This is also the first stage of skills training for all participants of the upcoming SPEAKSHOW 2017.
Q: What is the format of the programme?
A: The format would be a seminar room setting. The programme will feature a lineup of trainers from The High Flyer Nation, Radiant Owl Consultancy & Services and SocioGraf, as well as individual guest speakers. All speakers are trained professionals in the fields of personal development, effective communication, social media marketing and more.
Q: Why is the programme free?
A: ‘Essentials of Influence’ is free as part of a joint social cause initiative by The High Flyer Nation and Radiant Owl Consultancy. We’re organizing this workshop as part of our social cause to give creative students and professionals a platform to evolve as confident creators, collaborators and communicators in their fields. The High Flyer Nation’s mission is to take the world-class strategies of successful millenials and make them publicly available to the masses. We want to create a thriving millennial community centered on personal development and the free sharing of groundbreaking ideas.
Q: Is this workshop a free preview to a subsequent paid programme?
A: This workshop is not meant to be a preview to any particular paid workshop. However, ‘Essentials of Influence’ serves as prerequisite to potential candidates or participants of SPEAKSHOW 2017, an upcoming event held on 16th September 2017 at *SCAPE Ground Theatre.
SPEAKSHOW 2017 is *SCAPE’s impact art competition where teams compete to see who can deliver the most creative and impactful message in 5 minutes. The twist is that teams are free to use/combine forms of spoken word, song, rap, dance, theatre, etc. to make their message more impactful. The skills taught in ‘Essentials of Influence’ are directly related to skills applied at SPEAKSHOW 2017. The organizers will be sharing a little bit about SPEAKSHOW 2017 with the intention of garnering support for the event.
