Racial equity is lifetime work, but with this series you will accelerate your journey by understanding your story of race and identify, understanding marginalized, minoritized and invisibilized communities, how to more effectively connect listen to and leverage the stories of the voices you have not been hearing until this point and with strategies to be anti-racist in your work and life.

Goals for the 4 sessions:

  • You will have a better understanding of your story of race and identity.
  • You will have a better understanding of the marginalized, minoritized and invisiblized communities you and others serve.
  • You will understand how to more effectively connect to, listen to and leverage the stories of the voices you have not been hearing until this point...to inform your work (as a professional and a citizen of the United States).
  • You will have a list of tools and strategies to move forward in your work as an anti-racist.

 

CLASSES START ON January 12th, 2021 AND WILL BE HELD EVERY WEEK FOR 4 WEEKS ON tuesdays FROM 1:30 - 3:30 pM PST ON ZOOm.
