Please join us at our first Empowering Educators Conference, which will be held on Friday, February 24, 2023, at the Armstrong campus of Georgia Southern University in Savannah, Georgia.
We are thrilled to share that our Keynote Speaker will be Mrs. Wina Low, Georgia's State Director of Special Education and Support Services.

Conference topics will focus on:
- Effective Teaching Strategies for Students with Learning Disabilities, Dyslexia, and Those Who Learn Differently
- Co-Teaching Strategies
- Best Practices to Benefit Content Areas Such as Reading and Mathematics
- Culturally Responsive Teaching Practices
- Support for Induction Teachers and Pre-service Teachers
- Socio-Emotional Learning Strategies
- Instructional Technology Classroom Tools
During session breaks, we will offer self-care sessions such as chair yoga and therapeutic art drop-in sessions.
We plan to include:
- Concurrent sessions (50 minutes)
- Panel discussions (2-3 presenters for 50 minutes)
- Poster presentations
- Roundtable discussions
