"Empowering Chiropractic Families - a nuts and bolts approach to connecting with your community through positive, gentle and effective Chiropractic care for the family members"

Key Note Speaker - Dr Alison Young.

  • Review of the current climate, AHPRA legislation, current evidence.
  • Family Practice essentials 1 - your office, your team, your forms.
  • New Patient History and Assessment including practical and tests (CA's to learn too)
  • Making it fun - how do we engage our families and communities, recommendations for care and how to connect with parents and family members on the information they actually need to and want to know.
  • Breakout streams for DC's and CA's: DC's workshopping the first visit and basic adjusting skills.
  • CA's workshopping scheduling, flow and the first and second visit
  • What is an empowered chiropractic family, how do you connect with them in your community, how can you use all of this on Monday? For all of your team members.
  • We will be covering the role of the special needs family and how to accomodate them effectively in your practice and also how to work with the special needs child and/or adult.

  • CA EVENT:
  • CA's will have the opportunity to be immersed in the running and knowledge base of a Chiropractic family practice.
  • CA's will have opportunities to learn the evidence informed information for Chiropractic and families, and become part of the solution for empowering chiropractic families.
  • CA's will have the chance to work within their team of DC's and CA's on visit procedures and to then workshop these in a CA specific breakout group to really cement new skills!
