Note: This is a 2 day course
 
Target audience: Nurses (RNs and RPNs) working in the ED, ICU and Pediatric program; paramedics
 
Cost is $500 for external participants; Department funded for the staff working in the Emergency Department, ICU, & Pediatric program.
  

To successfully earn verification as an ENPC provider, you must:

  • review and complete the online modules within 30 days of your scheduled ENPC Course
  • Ensure you print a copy of your verification of completion of the online examination and submit it to your course instructor on the day of the course:
  • If you do not bring a copy of successful completion of the online examination to your ENPC course you will not be allowed to take the course that day.
  • attend the course and participate in hands-on learning scenarios, as determined by the course instructors
  • pass the required written and psychomotor evaluations 

 

COURSE MATERIALS

Pre-course material will be available for pick-up in Interprofessional Education (located in Medical & Academic Affairs, Level 3, TBRHSC).

 

 ACCREDITATION

The Emergency Nurses Association is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

The Emergency Nurses Association is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider #2322.

This 5th edition ENPC provider course has been approved for 18.3 contact hours for RNs.

In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, please advise the course director if you have any disability that requires special materials and/or services so appropriate personnel can be advised.

 

Cancellation Policy:

If your cancellation is received less than 2 weeks prior to the course start date, 50% of the course fee will be charged to your credit card.

You may also request a one-time transfer to a later course (if space available). However, if you choose this option and are unable to attend the course you transferred to, no refund will be issued.
