In response to districts requests, we will be hosting the Elementary Interventionist Learning Community (ILC) again this year. These sessions are focused on increasing interventionist knowledge and skills to align interventions to skill deficits through on-going targeted professional development and onsite support. The first session will focus on effective intervention practices that can be used in any intervention setting. It will include information about ensuring our intervention practices are appropriate for all students. Each participant will be expected to apply their learning in their school and share their experiences with the group.

Target Audience: The Elementary ILC is geared for elementary (K-4/5) school level interventionists or RTI2 leaders.

Please bring the following items for use during the session:

·       Progress monitoring data for a group of students identified with a basic reading deficit

·       Drill down screening data for those students and interventions you are currently using with those students

Date:

Tuesday, February 20 from 8:30-3:00 at the new CORE office, 448C Neal Street, Cookeville

Jennifer Briggs, Upper Cumberland CORE Interventionist
