East Coast Sisters Golf & More (ECSGM) event is a collaborative effort by NC Triangle Putters, NC Winston Lakes Ladies Golf Association (WLLGA), MD Wake-Robin Golf Club, Inc. (WRGC) and NC Triangle Women in Golf (TWIG) sisters. TWIG is hosting this first time event in North Carolina for golf leagues/associates and individual players on the east coast to join us on this two day exciting golfing affair.
It's an opportunity for us to fellowship on and off the golf course for two days. 9Hole and 18Hole level players are welcomed to participate in this fun packed occassion to celebrate our common interest and for the love of golf. USGA Rules are applied. You can play both days or select one of two days to play.
Day 1/Saturday April 27, 2024: includes two meals during your round of golf at the beautiful Arnold Plamer designed golf course, Lonnie Poole located at 1509 Main Campus Drive, Raleigh, NC 27606:
- Welcome/Registration @ 10:30AM
- Load Cart / Pick Up Bucket of balls
- Tee times for 18 hole players start at 11:15AM
- Tee times for 9 hole players start at 1:45PM
- Box Lunch pick up @ 1PM
- Awards dinner & Introduction of Golf Leagues/Associates after golf rounds end
Golf Event Format on Day 1:
- Two Best Balls
- 4 person teams (players will be assigned to a team by Golf Genius)
- Keep pace of play and pick up after double bogey par
- Scoring: Gross & Net
Day 2/Sunday April 28, 2024: will be continued fun for ladies interested in another round of golf at semi-private Lochmere GC located at 2511 Kildare Farm Rd, Cary, NC 27518:
- Check-in/Warm Up @ 9AM
- Load Cart / Pick Up Bucket of balls
- Tee times start at 9:45AM
- Meals not included
Golf Event Format on Day 2:
- 4 person teams (players will be assigned to a team by Golf Genius)
- Captains Choice
- Casual Play / Non-competitive
- Keep pace of play and pick up after double bogey par
Hotel Rooms: The ECSGM event has hotel rooms blocked at the Stateview Hotel by Marriott near Lonnie Poole golf course for our golf sisters traveling outside of Raleigh/Durham, NC. More information on booking a discounted room is provided after completing registration. Note: Hotel's discount is available till 03/27/2024. Lodging is not included in the ECSGM registration rate and any hotel issues may be resolved directly with Stateview Hotel.
