Child and Family Partners is offering this training over two sessions scheduled for consecutive Mondays (March 7th and March 14th).  This format for the two sessions on consecutive weeks will give participants the opportunity to practice strategies during the intervening week, then discuss and troubleshoot those strategies during the March 14th session.  The session on March 7th will focus on communication with children that builds and strengthens relationships, observations that help participants understand the function of behavior, and strategies for teaching needed skills for communication, engagement and regulation in the classroom.

These sessions will be presented by Tiernan McIlwaine, MA,MSW.  Mr. McIlwaine is the Director for Child and Family Partners and has been working with young children, families and professionals for nearly three decades!  His presentations are infomrative, engaging and fun!  Join him and others from around the nation in practicing these exciting strategies!
