E-3 (Energy Education for Educators) is a two-day workshop designed for Minnesota high school agriculture, mathematics, science, and technology education teachers who have previously attended E-3 and are interested in expanding their programming around energy topics. The Steger Wilderness Center is a unique experience offering classroom presentations, curriculum, hands-on lab demonstrations, lab kits and a tour of the Wilderness Center.
Plan on "roughing it" since the Wilderness Center is still under construction: no running water, no bathrooms (just outhouses), small cabins are available for us, if needed. A complete checklist will be sent to you after registering. All gear should be contained within one pack/duffle bag, except for sleeping bag, tent and heavy coat.
