Come join international speaker, 5X author, social entrepreneur, and Ted X speaker Cornell Thomas for this once in a lifetime professional speakers workshop. For the last 8 years Cornell Thomas has traveled the world sharing his message of positivity, resilience, and purpose. Cornell will be in Dubai to promote his 5th book titled “Game Of Death” An entrepreneurial survivor guide. While in Dubai Mr. Thomas will be dedicating a whole day in helping others that would like to get into the world of public speaking. Cornell currently runs a course called “Get In The Game” that is dedicated to speaker development and training.

 

At this workshop you will learn not only the tools to put your story together, but also the technique to impact an audience, and market yourself for professional speaking opportunities. Due to Covid restrictions there will a limited number of seats available, and once both sessions are filled there will be no more tickets available. Cornell is a graduate of the improv comedy group UCB (Upright Citizens Brigade) in NYC, and has been endorsed by the likes of Tony Robbins, and Cornel West to name a few.

For Cornell Thomas it all started with a ball. From the first time he picked up a basketball at the age of sixteen he was being groomed and prepped for his life’s mission now. Basketball has taken Cornell on an amazing journey of triumph and tribulations. A week away from playing professional basketball Cornell suffered a career altering injury. Little did he know that injury would be the detour he needed to find his true path in life, which is helping others. Cornell became the head coach of his old junior college without any previous history or knowledge of coaching. As a young coach with no clue how to lead a team the losses came immediately, and at the end of coaching the worst season in school history he became obsessed with team and culture. Cornell in just two seasons had the worst and best season in school history. He has sat at the table with some of the best basketball minds and leaders in the world. From High-School, NCAA, and even NBA championship level coaches Cornell has acquired a PHD level understanding of not only what makes a successful team, but how they sustain that success. In 2013 Cornell wrote his first book, The Power Of Positivity – Controlling Where The Ball Bounces.
