Drift Day 101 - Sunday, June 17, 2018
PLEASE READ
Drift Day 101s are meant for new drivers to drifting looking to hone your skills. We teach from the ground up. Autobahn Country Club (ABCC) consists of a small skidpad so it is very safe for new drivers. For those that have attended a USAIR 101, this event will differ from it. At USAIR we have the ability to run multiple layouts simultaneously. However, due to space at ABCC we are limited. Due to this limitation, the morning session will consist of 2 separate figure 8s for you to learn on, starting with donuts, then figure 8s. After our lunch break we will switch to a simple course layout on the skidpad to further teach newer skills.
Drivers who have more experience and are capable of driving full courses with ease, please be aware of the above, you will be limited to the layouts that suffice the entire group of drivers.

LOCAL INFO
ABCC is located in Joliet, IL, but very far from the city portion of Joliet. There are a few fast food restaraunt's nearby, but choices are very limited, please review Google maps before arriving and prepare for the day.
TRACK INFO
ABCC is a country club, not just a regular racetrack. This facility was built for it's members who pay thousands of dollars a month to rent space at this track and utilize it at thier discretion. With that said, the facility is very upscale, clean, and professional. As you will see there are 6+ figure vehicles all over the grounds. Our drift cars do not fit in. However, ABCC has been generous enough to allow us back and use thier venue and we would like to keep it this way.
With that said, please be respectful, professional, and courteous on the grounds. This is not limited just to your personal behavior, but also to your friends and family. Please also be presentable, this includes your car. The members are used to seeing well put together race cars and would like to continue to do so. They have the power to keep us from returning to the venue. So please ensure your vehicles are presenatble. So if your car has body parts falling off it, its leaking all over, or it dented up like crazy from crashes, please fix it or leave it at home. This does not mean you are required to have a flashy paint job, wheels, or aero. Just something that does not look like it came off the set of Mad Max.
If you have specific questions or are concerned your car is not up to par, feel free to contact simba@clubfr.net
