Dr. Rooz Khosravi
Dr. Rooz Khosravi is a clinical assistant professor at the University of Washington. He teaches at both graduate and dental student levels primarily on topics related to digital technology and oral biology. He is also part of multiple research projects including the national openbite study lead by Dr. Greg Huang. Dr. Rooz founded and practices at Porth, a modern boutique orthodontic clinic in Sammamish, WA. In addition to private practice and academic life, Dr. Rooz is an orthodontist-scientist consultant at uLab Systems as well as BayMaterials. In these capacities, he assists with accelerating the development of advanced software and materials to push the boundaries of digital orthodontics.
Dr. Rooz has extensive knowledge of and experience with 3D imaging and printing. He is an expert in clear aligner therapy and has been conducting studies to better understand the available clear aligner systems. Dr. Rooz is a second generation dentist in his family. Raised by a dentist-engineer duo, he has a passion for science and enjoys interacting with patients in his daily practice. Dr. Rooz, his wife Elly and their young son live in Sammamish.

Michael leads sales initiatives and works closely with uLab customers to accelerate the adoption of uLab’s platform in the marketplace. Prior to to joining uLab Systems, Michael helped launch disruptive medical device technologies through various start-ups. He has held positions with Dentsply, OrthoClear, OraMetrix/SureSmile, Phonak/Lyric Hearing, Sonitus Medical, Asante Solutions and OC Orthodontics/Pitts 21. Prior to receiving his M.B.A from Northeastern University D’Amore-McKim School of Business, Michael received his Bachelor of Science in Communication from Ohio University. Michael lives in Little Silver, NJ and is married to Jill. Mike and Jill have have two children Audrey (8), Carter (6). Outside of working and spending time with family, Michael enjoys golfing and skiing.
