You’re invited to participate in a unique V3 Hiring Event presented by WestRock on November 1, 2016 at the Dominion Charity Classic.  The Dominion Charity Classic is the second of three Charles Schwab Cup playoff events at the conclusion of the season on the PGA TOUR Champions for eligible professionals age 50 and over. The tournament will be hosted November 3 – 6 at The Country Club of Virginia, James River Course.

Executed by Virginia Values Veterans (V3), the official charity of the Dominion Charity Classic, this Veterans Hiring Event connects V3 employers with qualified Veterans, military spouses, National Guard, and Reserve job seekers from all over Virginia. Admission to this event is complimentary courtesy of WestRock.

Unlike a traditional job fair during which candidates circulate to employer tables, this event allows employers to pre-screen resumes before speaking with small groups of Veterans in a  “speed-recruiting” style. This event turns the tables, allowing employers to go from table to table at timed intervals getting to know each group of pre-screened Veterans. Event coordinators will also work with employers to match their job postings to candidates, and work with candidates to match them to employers.

Our partners will also be pre-screening Veteran applicants prior to the event, and participating employers can be confident that the Veterans in attendance have the hard credentials and soft skills required for a successful workplace fit. Employers must have open jobs in which they’re actively seeking candidates to fill as of November 1st, 2016 to qualify. To ensure a quality event, employer spots are limited!
