Until 1970, the Church acknowledged a list of men as Doctors of the Church. According to the USCCB, a Doctor of the Church is someone who “through their research, study, and writing, they have advanced the Church’s knowledge of our faith.” While we are grateful for these men, there are many women who also deserve recognition. These women are pillars of faith both by their lives’ testimonies and by their theological contributions to the Church. As a Marian institution, we are excited to highlight the women who, like Mary, are models of faith! The events begins at 6 PM. All are welcome to join us for 7:15 PM Mass afterwards.
Our Lady of the Holy Spirit Center is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to helping others grow closer to our Lord and our Lady.
