These amazing artists will be sharing their vast knowledge and teaching Kizomba, Semba, Tarraxinha and more!

Ø  Kimberly Nicole:  Founder and Director of the Kizomba RDU Dance Company, based out of Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina, and has been instrumental in growth of the Kizomba dance scene across the Carolinas.  She is known for sharing her knowledge and passion of sensual body movements in a fun and enjoyable way. She has taught Kizomba, Tarraxinha and Ginga/Body Movement workshops in some of the best Latin and Kizomba Dance festivals across North America.  In addition to her dedication to dance and sharing knowledge, Kimberly Nicole is dedicated to the empowerment of women on and off the dance floor.

Ø  Kiki Elsilencio:  Joining us from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Kiki is a Togolese born and raised actor, model, educator and dancer.  He grew up dancing Afrobeats, Zouk, Soukous as well as different traditional dances from Togo.  Kiki is a part of Philly Flores, a local instructors group in Philly, where he teaches on a weekly basis. He is always eager and ready to transmit the culture of Kizomba, Semba and Afrobeats.  If you haven't seen what great and positive energy means on the dance floor yet, come experience the Kikilicious vibes!!!

Ø  DJ Afrodeshiak:  Joining us from Nashville, Tennessee, DJ Afrodeshiak is a dedicated DJ and dancer.  Born in Wakanda Africa, she was brought to the US and raised in Nashville.  After graduating college, she discovered and fell in love with International Dance music. After seeing the lack of women DJs in the Kizomba dance world, DJ Afrodeshiak decided to step up to the challenge and focus on mainly Kizomba, Semba and Afro rhythms.  When she is not DJ'ing, she travels the world for dance, spends time with her beautiful children and posts memes and articles on Facebook!  Look for DJ Afrodeshiak on Soundcloud!

Ø  DJ D'Aço:  Joining us from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Mike is co-owner and director of Steel City Kizomba.  He has trained nationally and internationally in Kizomba and Semba, plus other African dances such as Soukous, Chakacha and Afrohouse.  He is known in the dance community for his smooth style and love of music and dance.  Mike began to DJ in 2015, and since then he has appeared at the UNY Cleveland Dancefest, the Saint Louis Afro-Latin Dance Festival, Salsa Fuego Pittsburg, KHADE in Cancún, México, and other events, weekenders and festivals around the country.  Mike was also one of the first instructors for the first Doce Connection Weekender in 2018!

Ø  Kizo Love Babs:  Babacar Seye made his official debut in September 2012 by creating his school Kizo Love Kizomba in Montreal.  Over the years, Kizo-Love Kizomba has brought to Montreal several international artists to teach kizomba, semba and urban, with the sole purpose of transmitting their passion for dance and thus enhance the richness of African culture in North America.  As a real actor on the Canadian Kizomba scene, Babs decided to dedicate time to this dance on a larger scale by giving classes in Canada, the United States and Europe.  Through dance shows, festivals, and lessons, Kizo-Love actively participates in Canadian cultural life by distinguishing itself by its professionalism, the rigor of its courses, the adaptability of the teachers and the diversity of their events.

The DJ's will keep us dancing with the best music!  Don't miss out!
