This course is geared towards equipping participants with the skills necessary to sit for the ASWB Masters and / or Clinical exam. A thorough overview of the test content will be provided as well as an analysis of test taking strategies and tips useful for success on the exam.

To understand major theories and concepts such as: human behavior, research methods, gerontology, child welfare, assessment, domestic violence, substance abuse, etc. and their relevance to the ASWB licensure exam.

**A pre-reading assignment will be disseminated to all workshop participants prior to the date of the class. The assignment will cover information that, for the most part, is self-explanatory. This will allow for the facilitator to reserve live class time for topics that are more complex and substantive.
Inspired Consulting Group, LLC will provide all workshop materials. This includes our comprehensive manual, practice exams, and access to our blog, which contains additional exam prep information.

Corey Beauford is the Founder and President of Inspired Consulting Group. Corey currently serves as a Clinical Instructor with the University of Maryland School of Social Work’s Continuing Professional Education Department in Baltimore, MD. Corey obtained his Masters Degree in Social Work from Howard University and is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Washington, DC and Maryland.
